Signing up is a three part process.

First you have to register.

Then you'll get an e-mail, with a URL you have to go to.

Then you'll get another e-mail informing you that your account has been activated.

That Lowell guy is pretty smart. Can't sign up with a fake e-mail address.

If you are using gmail, check your spam filter, that's where my activation e-mail went.

also, if you sign up with your current username, it will tell you something like it's invalid but just keep filling out the information. it will work.

You can use your current username, but you might have to create a new password.

my email came in a matter of minutes. it said something about clicking on the link to join. didn't even have to do that. it just "joined" me automatically. even if i wanted to back out, i had no chance:-)

I registered my same user name and password, yesterday, got the email to activate, did that today and a few hours later my account was activated. I'm on AOL and the activate email went to spam, other than that no problem to register.

It let me use the same user name and password. Gmail does send it to the spam filter

I registered Monday with no problem...used the same username, got my confirmation email within minutes.
