"Del Ray Garden"

“Del Ray Garden” is an image from the old industrial westside area of Detroit known as Del Ray.  An area of humble immigrant houses, it has suffered a long and severe decline with the deindustrialization of Detroit. Numerous abandoned and dilapidate house and weed lots are a feature of the district.  So imagine the optimistic explosion of color that filled my eye when I happened across this humble work of art.
