A friend of mine is looking for a picture of Mayor Young next to the sign in his office that said "HMIC". If anyone has it, can they post it? Thanks.

Shouldn't that be "HNIC"?
No disrespect intended, but that is what I heard years ago.

I believe the plaque read "HNIC". I heard that at his estate auction, it sold for just over $1,000.

The plaque read HMIC. It is now owned by the son of Fred Silber, the guy who had nearly all of the consession contracts for the city of Detroit.
