Yeah sometimes I go for the shock value and it usually doesn't go over well. Chalk it up to one of my faults.
I would love to see this region prosper and move forward which is why I am still here but it gets tougher each day to stay.

Goat, there are different methods for different personalities. There can't be "everything to everyone" methods of motivation. To some people being honest is great, to others... it simply crushes them. Some people need the positive, you know?
I don't think anyone in Detroit is really wearing rose colored glasses when they look at the current state of the city; it's impossible. |

I talked with a bar owner tht hired my next-door neighbor, she ran an ad on Craigslist for 3 hours, she received over 50 apps in the next two days, so I don't expect much. |

JL, I was just going to pick up tickets for Opening Day, but it was going to cost at least $250 for two cheap seats and $500 for two really good seats. So I just picked up a 15 game plan for $430 (two seats) and I will be able to buy two seats for Opening Day. I figured, fuck it, if I'm going to be spending that much money, I might as well be able to go to as many games as I can.
In all likelyhood, I could buy a couple tickets off the streets before the game (so could you) for around $70 per ticket. I can't take the risk, though because this will be my 10th consecutive Opening Day and I just can't take the chance of breaking that streak.
The girlfriend's birthday present won't be a surprise. Now she knows she's getting 16 tickets to the Tigers. |

I did go to Open City, and will continue to go. Just another thing you don't know. I did what I said, just a little bit late. Actually, I seem to remember canceling before most of those events, and you still lied and said I just didn't show. Takes one to know one I guess...
