I use the bar at Coach Insignia as an observation deck. I've even taken my camera with telephoto lens up there before. As long as they are not real busy and you ask first, they usually don't mind if you walk around to the skyline side. The drink prices are reasonable for the setting and well worth the trip upstairs. |

Use to be on the top of the Penobscott...now you can only go up there during the Skyscraper tours... |

The PW Skyscraper tour has not included the Penobscot observation deck for the last two summers, due to a decision by Penobscot Bldg. management to rescind that privilege. Maybe one of these days we'll be lucky enough to resume offering that stop on the tour. |

You can make your own observation deck in the Book Tower. It's been discussed before. |
