We were in Detroit for much of the day today starting out with a visit to the Science Center and then heading over to CityFest and checking out the sites, sounds and smells (why is food better eaten outdoors??). I've never seen the Science Center so busy!! Lines out the door onto the sidewalk for most of the afternoon!!! Thankfully we've purchased a membership this year and were able to bypass the long wait.

It's wonderful seeing so much activity on the 4th!!

My gf and I walked along the river and then took at electric bike cab around downtown. It was wonderful.

"By merging transportation and telecommunication in a secure and lavish pedal cab, BreezeCab will provide it's patrons with a cyber as well as physical link to Detroit's finest restaurants, hottest clubs, ballparks, theaters and casinos."

"On the inside, the cabs are equipped with wireless broadband Internet access, a computer system with a built in web cam..."

Seems a little bit unnecessary to have wireless internet access in a bicycle cab, does it not?

It's used as a gimmick of course. Nothing but a little Business Plan. It's just like going through a Drive-Thru window and they offer you something new on their menu or something expired that hasn't been purchased, but sitting ready to be just to earn an extra buck.
