If in fact this guy was shot in the back, was it truly in self defense? Why wasn't there disclosure of the location of the third bullet? |

Marianwtothed: Perhaps you should call Kym Worthy and suggest that to her. I doubt she even considered that possibility! |

"Worthy said multiple witnesses, both police officers and civilians, said Artrell Dickerson had a .38 caliber handgun and at one point turned so that the gun was in the direction of the officer." If this were the case, is there any reason why an officer wouldn't be justified in firing at the suspect? Seems pretty "opened and closed" to me. |

^It is opened and closed to everyone except extreme liberals, who view police brutality lawsuits as an effect means of redistributing wealth to minorities. They wanted this one badly. It doesn't matter that the guy was armed and pointed his gun at the officer. |

Right or wrong, I believe if you choose to go around carrying a gun (especially an unregistered one) you are asking for this kind of thing to happen. If you want one in your house because it makes you feel safer somehow, ok. Just keep it secured properly so children or intruders do not get a hold of it. Carrying one in public is not going to help you too much. And if a cop who is already nervous or antsy sees it, you're asking for trouble. |

My father taught me at very young age, never to point a gun at anyone. He also said if you have to aim it at anyone, shot to kill. Anyone stupid enough to point a gun at a police officer is going to be thinned from the herd. |

Darwin was right, this is natural selection at its finest. We can only hope that this shithead didn't spawn any offspring before being culled from the gene pool. |
