Driving to work today and I see crews in action on the Sears site on Woodward. Are they finally going to work on the condos that have been talked about for years now?

No, those workers are actually looking for the Sears van that Lowell drove when he used to work there as it's going into the HF Museum for its rightful place next to Rosa Park's bus.

Mike Curis is building an Aldi anchored shopping center. I don't believe that the residential portion once planned is in the works at this time.

does anyone have pictures of the architecture for the surrounding neighborhoods...wasn't there some very spacious homes/neighborhoods?

I used to sell shoes there part-time. As a customer I was in there every Monday; there was always something in those "Thrifty Monday" ads that I HAD to have!
