Every morning I pass this massive former residence on the way to work down Gratiot. It is a massive tan-bricked house with a green tiled roof. It has a store addition built onto the front of it. Warren runs along side and the address is 1151 E. Grand Boulevard. I keep thinking that this is a Louis Kamper-designed mansion since it is so much more elegant than any of the surrounding homes...or at least it was at one time.

Anyone know anything about it? I will try and get a picture soon...

Yeah it's a really cool place. Across from some unappealing, newer storefronts, and at the gateway to a major urban prairie...it's in a strange spot.
