I'm looking at a column from the Wash. Post (maybe a week or two old) that NSO's Slatkin will retire next year and is looking at the the Detroit DSO.

That's all I know.

Lucky I even know what NSO and DSO stand for. ;-)

I had to look up the spelling of 'symphony.'

I do know how to spell Zumaya, though. :P

There was an article last week in the news or free press about this. Slatkin has done some gust conducting in Detroit.

This would be a great thing; I hope it comes to be.
