That was a great interview, and I am inspired to tell you all that you are great company, and I think on the whole, definitely above average intelligent people, even those I sometimes, or often, disagree with. Jjaba, Ray, Rock, and the other "elders" are so very interesting and informative, and the younger crowd like scs are inspiring when I see their enthusiasm and excitement for our city. Thanks everybody, and Lowell especially. |

I was listening in but was dissapointed I didn't hear coverage of the Stott renovation which, according to the preview blurb, was supposed to be today. That seems to be an sort of mysterious development because of little it has been discussed on the forum considering its apparent legitimacy as an project actually in the works nonetheless, the Lowell bit made me very proud to be a forumer and part of the "international metropolis" of Detroit |

They covered Stott as the lead in the show - they talked about parking garage options, etc. with a mini-panel of someone from the DEGC, the developer, etc. |

I missed the show when it was live...I'm waiting for them to update their on-demand archive on the website. Does anyone know if they normally update it on the same day? |

quote:Have they fired Amy Miller yet? i don't want her fired, she is aparently a good journalist, i just don't want to hear her every 10 minutes in the morning. but alas, after a brief absense from the air that got me hoping it had happened, she was back on this morning. |

According the WDET's website, Amy Miller has this great bio and had a great career in Alaska Public Radio for 17 years. But here is Detroit she is awful. The only thing she has changed is trying to make her voice sound different, and it still is not any better. She still has not gotten any better and it was so nice having Quinn Kleinfelter on for a couple weeks. |

I don't think Quinn asks very good, or at least pointed, questions. Plus I don't know how on top of Detroit and even some other commonsense things he is. He kept asking if the downtown market could become saturated, such that there wasn't enough room for everyone who wanted to be there. What?!? |

Pythonmaster:quote:where did you get that cool Frankenstein photo? I wish I could remember the source so I could give credit where credit is due. Can anyone help? It was probably a local paper. He stays so humble but look what he's done here. Hat's off to Lowell! I'd do the same if he hadn't beaten me to it. |
