Curious, so management is giving the soon-to-be-striking employees the morning OFF, so they can show the upper hand in these negotiations? As IF they'll find enough drug-free employees to fill these scab positions...heh. |

Hmmmm, guess that we didn't need the state to shut them down. Leave it to their own employees! |

On wwj they said the construction workers were leaving in support of the strikers. After several minutes of prattling, they said the construction workers were going to lunch... |

Management tends to let pre-striking workers out early so they can later bleat to the media about preventing sabotage. And the media laps it up, of course. |

The "media" is correct. I hope Miriam makes a deal with the other casinos to implement a revenue sharing arrangement, which would permit MC to stay closed as long as it wants to or until the union members smarten up. (I'm assuming of course that the union people are already very well paid for what they do and should be grateful to have jobs in this market.) |

That's a weak assumption. |

Would a revenue sharing agreement be considered collusion? |

Is that the new table game at MCC? What does that pay out? Blue Cross 5 to 1, HAP 3 to 1? |
