At the last board meeting of the West Side Detroit Polish American Historical Society, we discussed compiling a list of west side businesses, churches, schools, and other sites that have played a role in the history of west side Detroit (roughly west of Woodward Ave). We plan to eventually put this listing on our website (www.detroitpolonia.org). We would appreciate names of places (businesses, schools, etc.) locations (specific addresses if possible), and any information pertaining to the sites. Thanks for any help that you might give. |
