Freep/WDIV reports there will be a formal announcement around noon. They will take either the Hudson's or Statler site. The move will occur over a few years and will move 4,000 jobs.

Freep quote Gilbert - he says they will develop both sites, one for Quicken and one for other high tech firms

Sheesh, are we that excited?

Wow, the way Gilbert is talking, his development could be bigger than Compuware's.

By the way, both sites of what?

YAY! Bring it on Quicken Loans. Come to Downtown Detroit. That's where the action is.

High-fives all around.

This is huge positive news for the City and the area, because the area is nothing without the city.

Cheers to Gilbert and my fellow D-yessers.

Yeah, those freep comments are crazy though. I say tough cookies for those suburbanites. They (Detroit suburbanites) need to get a good sniff of the American dream anyway.

YAY! DETROIT!
