Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get grass-fed beef or raw milk? Is there someone specific in Eastern Market perhaps? Thanks |

I think Whole Foods has grass-fed beef... I'm not 100% though... |

Better Health in Novi has it. I'm sure whole foods would have those items too. I'm not sure about places in the city. |

Great Question. I would like to know as well. I just assumed I would have to drive out to a farm in the middle of nowhere, which you can by the way, but it would be easier to get it in the metro area. This probably doesn't help for the metro area, but is a good site. http://www.eatwild.com/ |

I've recently learned that beef can be called "grass feed" with as little as the last 2 weeks of the animal's life on a grass diet. So I don't really know where to find beef from an animal that lived it's entire life on a grass diet. |

Good luck on the raw milk, state seems to think there is some good reason to ban its sale just about anywhere. You'll have to go directly to the small farmers or CSAs. There is a few around Ann Arbor and the only place I know that has it for sure is http://www.localharvest.org/fa rms/M5684. |

Only way you'll get raw milk is to buy a share of a cow, as part owner you can run around the FDA's silly law. |
