There was a segment on ABC News tonight that discussed how Google intends to invest hundreds of millions in new energy technology to replace coal. Several university scientists said that these goals are very realistic and Google has the ability to achieve this. Jenny should be on the horn to Larry Page, Google founder, asap to see how Michigan can capture some of this investment. The story mentioned Silicon Valley of course because that's where Google is headquartered. See ABCNEWS.COM and Scroll down to "Scitech" on the front page. At least two power companies listed there. One is a biofuels company. They could be Google's vendors for this project. |
