Are there any Detroit jewelers that Dyesers would recommend? I have never done the jewelry thing and would like to find an engagement ring that is unique but affordable. I know there are Simmons and Clark and Lavdas in Greektown any recommendations?

I like Simmons and Clark and I know that they do engagement rings.

Congratulations (assuming she says yes)

Is there still a Lavadas in Greektown??

Maybe you can try the yellow pages under gold or pawn? Some of those places are pretty good.

There is also Costa D'Oro in the Millender Center. They do nice custom work.

Facets in the Fisher Building. Beautiful jewelry, very reasonable. Does fabulous custom work as well.
