Just curious where people like to take their dogs in the city? I know the Park Bar and the Bronx are both dog friendly establishments, any other bars/restaurants around downtown/midtown? The Riverwalk is also fantastic, but its cold and I don't like to walk that far...

Dog park Tuesdays from 7-9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 p.m. Heated indoor area as well as outdoor fenced in area.

I also know that a lot of people meet up with their dogs on Sunday mornings near the lighthouse on Belle Isle.

Although its not in the city, the new Mall at Partridge Creek is dog friendly. They have stickers in the windows of the stores you can bring your dogs in.

Serious!?! I can bring my dog to get a beer with me at the Park Bar? What a concept, which is good as Cally is quite the babe magnet.

Be carefull. They seem to have a problem with overserving. Every time my pup comes home he is WASTED......... and reaks of garlic from the chicken schwarma. Not cool.

Cat friendly locations please? Let's not be racist among the furry friends.

My cat is very fond of modest size dogs and she is an avid drinker too.

Amsterdam Coffee House for the caffeine junkies also allows dogs. Not sure about cats. I haven't tried it yet.
