The primary informant was the clubhouse manager of the NY Mets. Therefore, it is likely that most of the players listed would be current or former national league players. That certainly doesnt make it a rule, just a probability. I expect Pudge and Sheff to be listed. Both played for the Florida Marlins, who are in the same division as the Mets. |

I think its inevitable that Pudge and Sheff will be on there. Sheff has all but admitted using steroids, and I don't think any of us would be surprised to see Pudge on the list after his weight loss following the 2004 season. Rogers though? I don't see the list being very heavy on pitchers. |

"Rogers though? I don't see the list being very heavy on pitchers." They said on CNN this morning that there will be a LOT of pitchers on it. Plus, Kenny probably needs those old man roids that repair muscle damage. (Message edited by kid dynamite on December 13, 2007) |

Possible Tiger roiders past and present: Pudge, Sheff, Rogers, Thames, Juan Gone, Luis Gonzalez, Higgy, Wells, Tettleton... Not that they'll all make the short list, but just taking some wild stabs. What about Polanco? He looks like one of those big headed guys on a 1990 Pistons World Championship T-shirt. |

No doubt Chitaku, I hope this list is wrong. I'm looking forward to the day when Indians Hafner, Garko, Michaels, VMart, Perralta, and Sizemore get outed. They should rank the list in order of amount of Steroids taken. 1. Canseco, 2. Bonds,... 80. N. Perez |

I'm surprised you mentioned Higgy Rob. I remember him joking in 2003 that at least nobody needs to worry about anybody on this team taking steroids. |

The release of this study just shows how phenomenal a player Ken Griffey Jr has been. Of the major power hitters of the past decade +, he's pretty much the only one not on the list. |

Glad to not see Manny Ramirez on there. Though these are just the people who were implicated with evidence. Think of how many people got away with it. I don't have a lot of money or an entourage, but I imagine I could get my hands on some HGH by this time next week without leaving a paper trail. I shudder to think of how many people were smart enough to cover their tracks, especially seeing how many big names on this list were linked to these few people who did get caught. |

Please understand that this isn't a comprehensive list of users. It is basically the result of an investigation from 2 sources only. How many other clubhouse people, trainers, etc. were doing the same thing? People should not treat this as the definitive list of users. |

I think it's basically all meaningless now anyway. This was a way for Bud & Co. to say we've put it all behind us and we'll be good little boys going forward. All records are now meaningless as well. But weren't baseball records just fantasy anyway the way the sport has changed field dimensions, the way the ball is wound, the wood in the bats, etc. etc.? Just look at players and say he was great compared to others in that era. For the 1990's it will be "he was great in the steroid era." I know I'm looking forward to this season as much as any in the past 40 years. (Message edited by 401don on December 13, 2007) |

FWIW, steroids per se don't increase the size of your noggin as far as I know but HGH does. Bonds was on all kinds of stuff. Nook Logan must have been on the juice in an attempt to hit the ball out of the infield. Clemens has always been a money grubbing douche and now I can hate him even more. |

"Can someone explain the big head thing to me? I wonder about Polanco's head..." Could it be because he is one of the smartest players in the game? It is strange that I don't find Rondell White nor Fernando Vina, listed on the lists of dopers, yet both show up in the list of checks written to Kirk Radowski. Rondell has several for $3500 each. I wonder how much he could fetch for those on eBay. LOL |

Yawn. I'd only be bothered by this whole thing if they included cocaine or heroin. And there's no hint of that. It's all about the money. Anything to stay in the bigs and make the bucks. Period. |

Vic, you made jjaba laugh. No Al Kaline, Ty Cobb, nor Virgil Trucks either. jjaba toured Dominican Republic baseball programs last yr. and saw coaches shooting up 14 yr. old kids on sand lots. The said it was vitamins and nutrients. So, down there, treating them like cattle, they get started early. Sammy Sosa has given back so little to his hometown, they don't speak highly of him. But they adore Big Poppy. jjaba. |

Speaking of money, I heard the Mitchell investigation cost $20,000,000. Its all about a bunch of hearsay, no real proof. People are going to perceive that the ones not on the list are innocent and the one on the list are guilty. Its total BS |
