Here are a set of high-resolution scans of a 1930 Detroit street map, courtesy of forum member Hornwrecker:

Welcome to the forum Michael (0_x_0)!

Many of us here are very interested in the Lafayette Park & Elmwood area before urban renewal took its' toll on the area since the 1950's.

We've had trouble finding old pics of that area, so anything that you could post to show us what was razed, would be most welcome! :-)

I have been researching the family history of my great aunt's husband's family and according to the 1900 census, one of his ancestors lived on Woodbridge, just east of Joseph Campau and another was on Larned, just west of Mt. Elliott. You don't happen to have photos showing any old houses on those streets, do you?

Is Delray a firm or an area? If it's an area, it's not on the east side of Detroit but, instead, on the east side of the Rouge River in SW Detroit.
