TIGER STADIUM DOCUMENTARY RETURNS TO THE BIG SCREEN

Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Gary Glaser's latest documentary, Stranded at the Corner, will be shown Thursday, Jan. 17 at Detroit's Marygrove College Theatre as part of its Defining Detroit Documentary Film Series.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and admission is FREE.

Stranded at the Corner explores Detroit 's historic Tiger Stadium and its uncertain future at the corner of Michigan & Trumbull. It features interviews with Willie Horton, Bill Haase, Mickey Briggs, Bill Dow, Harry Glanz, and the late Maryann Mahaffey.

Plus "comic relief pitcher" Thom Sharp.
