I miss the bluegrass music, too . . . is there any other place to hear bluegrass on a regular basis in the city of Detroit? |

In the 90's 3rd was great after-hours. I always remember the lites flickering in there from the generator they used because of some fallout with Det. Edison. |

I liked 3rd Street Saloon a lot. The music acts there were often unique. As that area starts improving with more WSU students living on campus, that location will be prime, too. |

Off topic, but can someone tell me a little about the Steak Hut? What's it like? I've never been. |

I still feel nostalgic for the dingy Third Street Saloon of the 80s. Crowded... dark ... The Doors on the jukebox. Good times. |

Third Street was a great place to go have a drink on a warm summer afternoon with the doors wide open, watching the mess of activity across the street at University Ghetto Market. Someone must reopen it. |
