Does anyone still watch this thing? I think the last time I did was 1972.

I recall my whole family watching them back in the 70's, of course that was when it was competing against two other networks.
Cable helped kill drive-in theaters and it also killed these pageants.

They need more contestants saying, "Everywhere like such as" and "The Iraq." If nothing else, most people like a train wreck.

Of course I watch it. Can you think of a better thing to look at then beautiful young ladies? You’ve got to appreciate them in their flower, because pretty soon they’re going to put on weight and turn into man-haters like the ones here.

No Silas, the women who rejected YOU in the past weren't man-haters, they just had minimum standards. (You didn't meet the threshold.)

(You can still look at them on TV, however!)

Talk about a double standard.

DO YOU THINK! a man in London, England would know about a Farmington Hills? They only know about Detroit. Farmington Hills is a small village suburb.

Yet, when it comes to jobs in this regions, it always "Detroit", not Troy or Dearborn. For reference, it was a thread about a job re-locating from Detroit to Chicago, even though in all reality, they were in Royal Oak.

To be fair, many city residents are hostile as well to suburbanites who claim to be from the city.

I don't know what you folks are so proud of. So she looks good. SO WHAT? What else can she do?

Her hair ain't exactly OEM, and her legs look as phony as the day is long. I'm sure she works out, but I'm bettin' she had a little help.

Somethin' tells me we'll be reading about her in Jose Canseco's new book.

Nice assumptions there, Harpernottingham.

Way to rumor monger and toss conjecture out there just like Canseco. And don't think Jose Canseco is some authority on anything either; he's got about as much credibility as a snake oil salesman.
