How could this go unsolved. I remember media coverage (national) about all the cameras on the streets downtown during this time period. It was next to impossible to be downtown without being on at least one camera. Yet DPD can't solve this crime.

I think this is proof positive the problem is that DPD is underfunded and doesn't have enough people.

This is disgusting - the city budget should be completely gutted to zero and re-built. Eliminate duplicate services, wasteful departments, and re-prioritize to core services and focus on providing services to the citizens of Detroit at the best value for the dollar.
