I finally caught this documentary on KOCE here-I know friends of this board were involved in it but it told me nothing of Alvin Bell, his past, his education, how he felt about things...but everything about the documentarian, her "boyfriend" and what not. My viewpoint was confirmed when they ran the "Good Morning America" piece that said more in a few minutes about Mr. Bell than the previous 80-& none of the GMA footage had the documentarian in it. It seemed she was taking a (poor) lesson from Michael Moore, where the documentarian sees themselves AS the story or even more important than, rather than the conduit for telling the story |
