Probably the Hockeytown Cafe downtown as well as MCsports, Sports Authority, Dunham's, and Dicks Sporting. There are several "Ma and Pa" sports stores around too. |

There's another place in Troy...can't remember the name...but it's at 17 Mile and John R in a little shopping center. They have lots of DRW merchandise. |

There’s a lot of interesting stuff at Joe Louis Arena, if you go for one of the games. They have a small store down in the box office area, but I never see it open when I’m in there after 5 p.m. Best thing about shopping at the Joe is it’s tax free. |

The place in Troy that Blueidone is mentioning is The Goalies Den. Some really nice high end stuff there too. |

Actually, I think 'swag' stands for Stuff We All Get, so if you want actual Red Wings swag, go to a trade show or a hockey game. What you're describing sounds more like souvenirs, or merchandise. |

Swag=Stuff We All Get= if you want to pay for some of the pricier items as well. I wouldn't say we ALL get. I'd love to get a few of the rarer pieces of memorabilia but it's way out of my price range at the moment. |

Smogboy...thanks! My memory is fading badly! The Goalie's Den is a great place. I was able to custom order a Konstantinov jersey for my husband's birthday there. Yes..pricey, but worth it to see the smily on hubby's face! We also got to see the Stanley Cup there..no crowd..just my family and a few other folks. We got some terrific pics! |
