We've learned that the Detroit City Council is scheduled to vote on the administration's most recent proposal for a Detroit land bank authority tomorrow at 10 AM at their formal session. It is item #149, and there will be an opportunity for public comment. We encourage you to be there to show your support. We also encourage you to invite your neighbors and partners who are working tirelessly to keep Detroit's neighborhoods strong. For your information, please find attached talking points prepared by the Detroit Vacant Property Campaign (DVPC) as well as a brief description of the DVPC's activities and goals. |
