Motor City Magic

Detroit has taken some hits over the years, but it always seems to bounce back, thanks to its creative spirit and proud people

Great to see a favorable review of the city from our friends across the river.

"As my cohort and I enter the U.S., a chatty customs agent regales us for a good 15 minutes on the techno talents of local musical legend Derrick May."

So that's why it takes so gawdam long to get through customs!

Dannyv-the Hitler Youth at the Border I ran into heading to T.O. should be SLIPPED some E, or @ least utilize their vaunted socialized medicine to remove the wooden shaft from her colon

Gsgeorge, I guess they didn't realize from "Bowling From Columbine" that Detroiters-esp the African-American variety, flee to Canada to escape the violent, racist hellhole that we all sprung from, It did remind me of "Windsor; Michigan's Neighbor To The North" from the "Travel" section article in John Hughes & P. J. O'Rourke's hilarious National Lampoon Sunday Newspaper
