It seems like Windsor has lost far more auto jobs than metro Detroit relative to its population the last several years. Higher paying too since they were mostly for the big 3 directly as opposed to parts suppliers. |

Canada is doing fine with its own socialist economy. It's unionized and Liberal planned. They don't give a hoot what's going on in United States. Canada is making successful international trades with China, Japan and rest of European Union. They also had their own oil deposits that the United States gets 25% of their oil for profits. Windsor is still growing even though it's losing the American automotive market. They got it made. |

You are right Danny. The double digit unemployment in Windsor is no problem. They can just use their cheap gas to commute down the 401 to Toronto to work. |

This is terrible news. For each regular full-tme auto worker, there are 7 service employees connected with those wages. GM wins again for name the Ostrich contest. Who the hell will be left to buy their cars? jjaba, sad day in Windsor. jjaba feels your pain. |
