Drove by the Civic theater this morning to find it damaged by fire and boarded up. It know it will never open as a theater again, but it's always sad to see old buildings like that destroyed by fire or neglect. |

I should clarify that I'm referring to the Civic on Kelly, and not the Farmington Civic. |

In the late '40s and early '50s the Mapleridge gang used to trek to the Civic every Saturday. Didn't matter what was playing; we always went. |
