So I'm going to be stuck in Columbus, OH on Monday for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals (bad timing for a business trip). Anybody know of a good bar (preferably in the Easton Mall area) that will A) be showing the game and B) will have good Wings fan representation?

I would check U-M's Alumni site to see if there are any alumni groups in the area. If any are listed, many times they have contact numbers, or email addresses. That's how I found Red Wing, Tigers and Pistons (Vipers, too!) fans down around Houston back in the mid-90's. I would check out MSU's clubs, too. Many relocated folks are happy to interact with other displaced Michiganders and give them tips on friendly places to gather.

As a fellow U-M alum, Mack, I thought you could be more helpful.

Sorry there. That's borderline quitting grounds.

I actually was down there a few years ago to see the wings play the jackets at Nationwide. More wings fans than columbus fans. it was great! I'm hoping to find where all the transplant wings fans hang out down there.

When Columbus fans cheer their beloved Blue Jackets, do they chant "Go Blue"?

Maybe you could ring up Amy Saunders. She loves Detroit.

Never made the trip for any of our games there, Dds.

Don't understand the Dearborn comment.

Sorry you haven't gotten any good info, Raptor. Columbus isn't a typical destination so people don't seem to know much about its venues. I would think that on that day the Stanley Cup game would have to be on TV in most bars.

In case you didn't get Gnome's reference, see this: http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/flipside/stories/2007/10/03/3_RANDOM03_ART_10-03-07_D10_FD820NL.html?sid=101
