there was quite a scene in royal oak friday evening, as filming commenced at the corner of washington and fourth streets. word is that sigourney weaver is here to film a movie for lifetime. a crowd gathered around the northwest part of the intersection that police had cordoned off, as production crews were doing their work.

about the movie (from http://www.bostonherald.com/tr ack/star_tracks/view.bg?articl eid=1096167):

Sigourney Weaver will co-produce and star in “Prayers for Bobby,” about a conservative woman whose gay son takes his own life. The Lifetime flick, according to Variety, is based on Leroy Aarons’ 1995 book that depicts the true story of a family’s opposition to their son’s homosexuality. Weaver’s character questions her feelings about her son’s sexual choices after he falls into a deep depression and eventually commits suicide. Russell Mulcahy, who directed Showtime’s “Queer as Folk,” will direct “Prayers for Bobby.”

Well shoot, if the guy who's directing this film did Queer as Folk, then there's going to be a ton of D&A. Wait, if it's on Lifetime, perhaps not...
