Just got in from viewing the movie at the Detroit Film Theatre. If you're a fan of the woman, which I am, go see the film. I saw her perform in 2000 at St. Andrews Hall and was mesmerized. She truly is a revolutionary.

I saw her at Masonic during the Horses tour (with Blondie as the guest band). Love her!

I saw the movie. It was a little long but I enjoyed it. Loved the opening act as well! I saw the Horses tour in March of 1976 at Ford Auditorium. Special guest for the Encore Fred "Sonic" Smith blazing thru My Generation. Opening the show was BeBop Deluxe. Dianeinaustin in 1979 you must have seen the Wave tour.

Norwalk, Thanks for the clarification. It's a bit hazy. I do know I saw her at the Austin Opera House :-)

I saw it. I thought it was really great. I'm friends with her son, and it was funny to see him as a young kid. She seems like an amazing person.

I saw her in Lansing in the mid to late 70's I think it was at the civic center. Excellent! If I remember correctly she opened for Journey.

For some reason I cannot get Gilda Radnor's SNL parody of her out of my head...

I saw Dream of Life on Sunday. I've always been crazy about Patti Smith. Loved the movie.
Glida's character was Candy Slice.
