Putting the rest aside (more than enough threads on that subject), this kind of slipped under the radar this week. The new Mustang. HOT. http://www.fordvehicles.com/th e2010mustang/ |

Looks good. They re-designed the rear end. Looks much better than the current model. (Message edited by jita1 on November 20, 2008) |

Go to gallery, then use the thumbnails at the bottom. There are several good shots of it. The 360 view thing is novel, but the gallery is your best bet. |

Haha. After all the dark speculation, I thought it'd be a joke site with a saddled horsey. |

Yeah, well, how do you get a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood home in that thing? |

I've got a '06 GT convertable - love it. Never had a car that gets more positive comments. This one looks even better. Who says Detroit (?) can't build good cars? When I bought the GT I looked at every convertible within $10,000 of its price. Nothing came close to it (for me, anyhow). Ray, I've got a F150, too. Problem solved. |

One passed by me in camo on my way to work. I had to go over a 100 MPH to catch up to him for a better look. |

While on vacation recently, we were upgraded from a Mustang to a Pontiac G6 hardtop convertible. I thought it was also a really nice car, with a little more space than the Mustang. |

You know, not to thread-jack, but people who speed up for "a better look" endanger the lives of the folks driving those cars. My spouse has been in a few very scary near-misses due to drivers trying to get a photo or a better view of shrouded vehicles... |

I like the video, with a background of warehouses, electric poles, and cyclone fence. No more Hollywood BS. |

...a nice presentation. I would think there will always be a devoted market segment for the ole Mustang. The decision/commitment from ford to continue to produce the pony car will pay off, even with the shakey situation of the auto industry today. |

How often do you buy plywood? What are you a contractor or just really bored? |

but dont anyone buy one. they are JUNK! just ask all of the foreign brand ass kissers... it wont be worth 1/4 of the price 5 years from now, IF it lasts that long... jeez! i only got 165K miles from '88 GT but it was going to need a clutch and a second set of brakes. besides i was starting a family and needed a bigger car... seriously this is SWEET. i dont care too much for the rear facia but itll grow on me. i like the front end better than the current model... |

Like it better then the new Camaro which I went nuts over, AND with the way people drive in my house I might not mind fixing a clutch on that car. |

"My spouse has been in a few very scary near-misses due to drivers trying to get a photo or a better view of shrouded vehicles..." As I'm sure she would also be endangered by a speeding ambulance or police officer trying to catch up to a speeder. |

One of the things I like about the newer Mustangs, is the wide range of performance options that you can get with them, and after market if desired. I bought my wife a 2007 V6 automatic convertable when they came out, and she loves it. It is a FUN car. If you want a little more go, they sure have that also. If it was for me, it would be some thing along the lines of a GT500. |

It's cool they brought back the sequential brake lights for the first time since the 60s. I'm a fan of the 2005-2009 models (I have a 2005 convertible), but this is a nice update. The interior is supposed to be significantly better in terms of materials. |
