Does anyone know how much it costs to rent space at Campus Martius? And for that matter, does anyone know how to get a hold of the events coordinator for Detroit300 Conservancy? Thanks.

How about getting married on the rink? It can be rented pretty cheaply. Officiant and everybody else on skates. Reception at Au Bon Pain (nonalcoholic) or the Checker Bar (booze).

I'm looking at number for rink rental right now--(313) 963-9393. They could probably give you info for the warm season too.

A couple got engaged on the ice on Saturday night -- he proposed in the middle of the rink and then their friends skated out with a couple dozen roses for her. It was really fun. I think Campus Martius is a great idea for a wedding.

Thanks all. The wedding won't be until this summer though, so ice skating is out.

I've had terrible luck so far getting in contact with anyone from the conservancy. I'll check out the rink lead too though and see if that gets me anywhere. Thanks!

Nope. All roads lead back to the conservancy voice mail.
