We're staying at the Book-Cadillac tomorrow night just for fun... thinking of eating at Roast if we can get a reservation. Anyone been there or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Look for Magic Mushroom's comments re: Roast in the recent Good Eats thread: https://www.atdetroit.net/forum/mes sages/5/163054.html?1227635432

Yep. I did. It was pricey but delicious. Granted, I'm a vegetarian, so I got the veggie special. The rosemary fries are OUTSTANDING.

Thanks!! Looks like Roast is completely booked up for tomorrow so we'll probably be eating somewhere else, but I definitely look forward to trying it another time. We'll look for Neil the bartender, too :-)

If you're adventurous, there are plenty of crazy things on the menu, such as pig ear salad and beef cheek pierogi.
