The Bobby Ferguson gets served thread got me thinking just who is married/related to who of Detroit's political/business elite. I didn't know Kwame's sister was married to Ferguson's cousin/employee. Someone else said in that thread said Warren Evans and Ella Bulla-Cummings were married. That got me thinking which of Metro Detroit's movers is married/related to which shakers? Such information sure would be intriguing.

Seems like the city government needs a transfusion of fresh genes. Too much political inbreeding, maybe? LOL

The Detroit elite help themselves and friends and family. They are not for the little guy at all.

This has got to be some kind of a record for nepotism! What a shameless ass!

I remember one time, when queried as to how he could justify all the nepotism, he quickly answered, "I believe in surrounding myself with those you trust."

Absolutely shameless, just like the "I don't know how to quit" or "I'm always running mantra he spews all the time.....

Most of these people are all stooges. Low level punks and skanks who are simply making their outrageous salaries on the backs of hard working folk.

The real Cass Tech butt-boy asshat in this whole mess is William Phillips, lawyer of Pepper Hamiltion fame.

I've been banging the durm on this guy for months now. He is the straw in the drink. Next Vision fund, Super Bowl Committee, Downtown Devolpment Authority, Generations PAC, PEI PAC, Detroit Just-us Fund, attorney on the tunnel deal, attorney on the 2005 800 million dollar Water Department Bond, blah, blah blah.

oh, business partners with Don Davis ...the list is endless.

Shouldn't she be Ella Bully-Warren-Cummings??

Make the hyphenate names stop! Keep your maiden name, or take your husband's and be done with it...

Gnome, I still can't get over that list! Over $2.6 million to support Kwame's family and friends. If he is kicked out of office, the Unemployment Office is going to get awfully busy!

All these leeches sucking $50-150K out of the city on the Fitzpatrick Friends & Family Plan and apparently there's no law against it?! I suppose the 'founding fathers' never imagined a mayoral administration (and council) would be so brazenly crooked. Welcome to the 21st Century.

Looks like Wayne County Sheriff Warren Evans is getting in on the Kilpatrick friends and family plan.

"Evans has a daughter working for the mayor."

What's a sheriff to do?

Unbelievable!!I guess it is who you know and who you blow! It is a shame for us working folk that put in years with a company doing hard work and raising families and you hear about these stooges making $100k to do nothing. How many assistants does the mayor need?! I have worked in cities and states where the mayors and city managers don't make what his assistant II's are making!
