That's a pretty radical website. They seem to be against international bridges. It looks like a photo of some other existing bridge. |

A search of the I-5 bridge (which comes up if you scroll over the picture) shows it to be an OLD pair of bridges between Portland and Vancouver. |

Sean of detroit, Are you being serious, or facetious? Either way, no, that is not what the bridge will look like. It's certain that the public-owned/operated bridge will have to have a higher clearance than the one pictured. It will only have a pier or two, and will be either suspension or cable-stayed. |

I'll be surprised if that public bridge gets built anytime soon anyway. Nobody here seems to be too keen on spending the $2-3 billion it's going to cost on this side, including a another massive tearing up of I-75 about a mile south of the current Gateway Project. And then there's the fact that the preferred location for the US plaza will involve pretty much erasing Delray. |

I'm sorry Delray is not exactly the poster child for safety and is kind of a dump. Not many architecturally significant buildings that are worth saving. |

"And, last time I looked, Windsor hadn't grown mountains." That's the Detroit side. Mt. Elliott. |
