It looks....good. Was the whole thing shot in Detroit? An Asian gang in Detroit, that's funny. |

Looks pretty low budget even without the Michigan discount. Clint should wack 'em with his cane like Bat Masterson. |

The opening shot of the trailer was shot at Charlevoix and Drexel on the Eastside. The building address reads 13146 Charlevoix. Anyone know where the neighborhood scenes were shot?? Looks like Grosse Pointe or Harper Woods. |

You must not know Harper Woods very well...doesn't look like any part of HW that I know. It was in the papers over the summer that he was filming in the Pointes. Reportedly they spent some time in the Shores, and I know they were in the Park, as they basically took over the block where my wife goes to yoga for a few days. The women were all aflutter at the prospect of seeing "Dirty Harry"! |

Those houses look way too old and close together for Harper Woods. If "238" is the actual house number, that should narrow it down a lot--there aren't that many neighborhoods in Detroit with addresses in that range, and they would all be either spitting distance from the river or a few blocks off Woodward. |

Where's Axel Foley when you need him? Seriously, it looks like vintage Eastwood. |

No offense, but how believable is it for a 20-something gang banger to get beat up by an 80 year old even if it is Clint Eastwood? |

Some of the scenes were shot on the 200 block of Rhode Island in Highland Park... |

I think the Eastwood's character's home is in Highland Park right there. I also quickly picked up the Charlevoix scenery, and what appears to be St. Ambrose church. Low budget or not [it usually doesn't matter]...that was a pretty poor trailer. |

Some of it looks like GP Park to me, in the blocks east of Alter Rd. The movie looks cheesy and simplistic. And Asian gangs in Detroit... well... |

quote:No offense, but how believable is it for a 20-something gang banger to get beat up by an 80 year old even if it is Clint Eastwood? It happens sometimes. I remember about a year ago a 72 year old Marine beat the shit out of some dude trying to rob him. here's a link to the story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19 612312/ |
