Bing may get all the endorsements in this Planet Earth, but He will NOT become Mayor of Detroit.

Please tell me this isn't an example of typical Detroiters' understanding of the issue...

Wendell Anthony's endorsement coupled with Tony Earley's should give everyone in Detroit pause. Those same two were staunch Kilpatrick supporters...

...rather, it's an example of WHY there is zero to little understanding of any issue in our fair city.

I wonder how Wendell will profit from a Bing Administration? A new church being built or the city ceding over city blocks for another housing development?

Right. The fact that someone who endorsed Kilpatrick in 2005 is endorsing Bing in 2009 clearly means that Bing is a crook.

Well, it wouldn't be such a crime if they had just endorsed Kilpatrick in 2005, but these are the same two people who supported his shenanigans throughout 2008. If they hadn't kept supporting him as they did then he could have been booted from office months earlier. Bing could do without those two endorsements...

"If they hadn't kept supporting him..."??? I don't think Wendell Anthony and Tony Earley are in the same category on this one.

Tony Earley (along with Dave Bing) was one of the very few in the business community brave enough to speak up against Kwame after the text message scandal broke. Tony Earley most certainly did not support him "throughout 2008". I don't think Tony was aware of Kwame's "shenanigans", much less supported his shenanigans.
