Dang. Another Victorian beauty belongs to the ages. Thanks for the photos Pcm, sad though they may be. |

Ray, what would a home like that fetch in Henderson? (Even with the real estate collapse) |

What does Matty Moron want to do there? In all seriousness, I hope this beautiful structure is salvageable. |

Can't make a comparison, Bobl; there ARE no Victorian homes in Henderson. There wasn't even a house in the entire current city limits until 1945. Based on size, I'd guess that house had at least 3,000 square feet, so I'd reckon around $450,000, down 25% from two years ago. |

Yep, good view, Dfd. It's usually frustrating how much of Detroit proper is still missing on the Google street view. Wish they'd get moving. |

Great shots Kate. This was another tragic loss. Especially considering it damaged the equally impressive -- yet occupied -- house directly next to it. They were last remaining structures of this type in the entire area between Park and Woodward, Fisher Fwy & Temple. Imagine nearly the whole neighborhood like this at one time. Wonder what it will look like five, or ten years from today. |

I can imagine how breathtaking that building must have been. It makes me sad we have such crappy pre-fab stuff going up today. |

I guess Leannam doesn't think we in the Ozarks count? Tsk, tsk tsk. I had to laugh almost out loud when I read Northern Arkansas BOONIES! It's beautiful here Leannam, you should visit ps: Funny thing is that many of us really don't WANT to be included on Google's precious invasion of privacy machine. |

Anyone know if the owner was insured or plans to rebuild? |
