I'm moving in a few months, I live in Detroit and I want to stay in Detroit or Hamtramck. Can anyone suggest websites or papers with rental listings? I know of craigs list and I've looked in the Monitor but there really are not a lot of good places to find what is for rent in Detroit.. | ||

I recall that the Grosse POinte News has plenty of Detroit listings in its for-rent classified section. I don't know how quality of listings compared to anything else, though all listings were on the east sid near GP. O. | ||

This is gonna sound really obvious, but pick a neigborhood and go cruise thru with your eyes open.. LOTS of folks are doing the "for rent" thing without the benefit of any advertising other than a sign in front of the house these days. Gotta be nine or ten houses in my neighborhood with hand lettered signs out front.. | ||

I always post my flats in Hamtramck on Craigslist. Unfortunately, I don't have any for rent right now, because Craigslist always works out for me. Good luck with your search. |
