Smoked Orlando tonite, scoring 116 pts. Do you think the new players and rookies are inspiring?

Stuckey, and Hayes are a great contribution to the bench. I'm kinda wondering if Hayes wont take the McDyess starting position in the future.

Eric, Your right, anyone watching could tell they would lose. Pistons biggest fault is that they live and die by the jump shot and 3 pointer. The starters are lazy and refuse to drive to the basket and when Chauncy does, he loses the ball almost every single time. It's early and I'm confident they will be there at the end.

CWebb had been saying that he only wanted to play for the Pistons, but Cleveland's frontcourt problems may lead him to consider a season with the Cavs.

It's apparent that the pistons do not want to sign him. Last year he started out on fire but end of season and playoffs, his play fell off and ran out of gas. If they need him towards the end, he might have a chance, but don't count on it.

I don't think Miami is going to be the threat that it was before. D Wade has duct tape on every appendage, and probably wont be as explosive as he was before. Shaq is getting slower by the day.

Boston however, I kind of agree with you on. They're Pierce, Garnett, and Allen are probably make one of the most solid teams in the league now.

I think the Pistons can defend Shaq over the course of a playoff series, even if he goes off one game or two.

We'll see the Celtics twice in the space of a couple weeks: December 19 in Boston, January 5 at home. That's when we'll learn the conference the pecking order.

Uh, did you guys watch the game we already played against Miami? Shaq (as the Shaq we know) is done.

What a game last night. Down 22 pts. and come back to win. this is w/o 2 starters. Sheed is having his best season as a piston this year. More focused than ever.

How bout the bench really asserting themselves in the last few games. Maxiell has been very consistent on scoring, and blocks. Not only has this bench been able to hold a lead, but they've been expanding upon it. The starters almost look out of place getting reduced minutes.

The bench definitely looks strong. Stuckey will have to earn his minutes. It all bodes well for one last playoff run with Rasheed and Antonio as the primary big men. Will Hunter be taken off the active roster when Stuckey is put on?

I'm thinking they will probably take Hunter off the roster. When is Stuckey supposed to be back anyway?

The Bulls have the Pistons number. Out of 6 regular season games last yr. The bulls won 5. This year the bulls are 2 - 0 against us. The bulls are in last place.

Nobody has posted about the trade. Joe did well to dump Mohammed's salary, clear some cap room and get two big bodies to foul other team's big men in the playoffs. Full credit to Mohammed for never bitching after being signed to start and ending up with garbage minutes.

Pistons take out the 20-2 Celtics at home, handing them their first home loss.

Great game, guys. Vintage. Ugly, but execute when it counts.

Anyone talking about the Pistons anymore? They just beat the Bucks by 45 pts. with 47 bench points in 81 bench minutes.

Pistons are indeed playing great. They are moving the ball around and finding the open guy incredibly well. More importantly, they seem to have that aggressiveness back. Not only are they rebounding with all 5 guys, but they are forcing turnovers like I've never seen. Except for Garnet coming over, the discrepancy between the top half in the West vs. the top 8 in the East is even greater this year.

I know it's not likely, but I just thought I'd mention that the Pistons have a chance to get 60 wins this season. Looking forward to the playoffs with the strongest bench I've seen in years.

Good point Testua. I just love watching that young bench come in. Not only are they good, they are exciting. They are a bit inconsistent yet, but when they are on, as the mostly are, they pose a demoralizing no let-up threat. If the Pistons get to 60 wins this year it will be different than the last time in that the starting five will be so much better rested.

I was also delighted by Juan Dixon's performance Saturday's demolition of the Clippers. He fit right in a shot lights out.

Amir Johnson, and Maxiell are kicking ass. Amir kind of makes up the rebounding that we lost when Ben Wallace left. I hope they get playing time tonight against Boston to get them prepared for what's to come in the playoffs.

I hope we stomp boston tonight...gonna be a very tight game.

Funny thing is...all these other "great" eastern conference teams come and go...but the pistons are always overlooked...

Miami, New Jersey, Philly, Boston, Cleveland...

All those teams have come and gone, or are just coming back...yet the D still keeps rolling

I think there's a possibility if we have a decent lead in the game. Our team has a real chance to go all the way this year.
