Far be it from me to ruin their fun, Z. If they want to wear little pink braided necklaces, more power to them. And more relaxation, too

12468 - no plans for the school and the gym is still used for St. Jude events such as Rummage sale, Parish dinners and raffles. I don't see that changing but don't know about what's happening with the school. Your sister was in Campfire the same time we were, but in another group. Do you know who her "leader" was? - or anyone else in her group. You graduated in 72, right?

Sorry Z - It's been a busy day and I didn't have time to embellish on your proposed bowling emporium where we would all retire to a life a prosperity and good times.

cfg, I graduated in 1971 and my sister in 1969. can't remember the name of her leader or others in her group. Jcole, I do remember the Kocis family and also the name Rybacks sounds real familiar 7andkelly. The Kocis family had two sons, I believe and lived either next door or two down from the Olinzocks, also had two sons I think - Mr. Olinzock was a usher for years and was also a scout leader in cubs, as was his wife. The SJS families I was real close to on Laing were the Grabowskis, Roehrigs, Battanis - one daughter is a judge in Detroit now,and the Jarzombecks. The other kids I chummed around with went to Carlton.

Which Battani girl is a judge? Debbie?
Mike Kocis graduated with me, as did John Olinzock. Jarzombeck rings a bell. Was the father in the choir, or the mother in Altar Society?

I think the dad and the son were in the choir. Debbie lived in Harper Woods on Eastwood or Huntington.

ok folks, the Battani family had I think 3 girls - the judge is Marianne Battani, the youngest daughter was Bonnie and I think she may have either graduated with my sister in 69 or a year before. The Jarzombeck family was really Jarmosevich - my mind is not as sharp as it used to be. They had two daughters, one Regina or Dina for short grad in 1969 and the youngest Joyce in 1971. There was a Jarzombeck family - one of the daughters grad with me in 71.
