Now that you mention it, here would the Liberal/Queen and Rex go for fun? To the Casino, of course! When they would sneeze, what would it sound like? Cadieux of course! (Sorry, that was a stretch). Been slacking enough.

She's doing better, thanks. She's at home now, so at least she's comfy.

zitro, i sure did know the shorts. they lived on the corner of whitehill and casino - always thought their house was fancier than the others. they were older than me - think there were also two daughters, and one of them may have sat for us. i remember on the casino side of their yard, there was a short pipe coming out of a tree about 6 feet up. was riding my bike past there once, someone was walking by and thought it was syrup, Mr. Short laughed and said it was a sap release. a great family.

Didn't know there were sisters. I see in the 67' Crown there's a Gale Short. Bob was a year older than I and I think Gary would have graduated with KR. I think I was over their house once. I seem to remember something different. Did they have this awning overhang thing on the side of their house.

yea, think so, don't know if it was on the back or the side, but seems i remember that. May have been maroon. can't remember any names of the sisters, but i know someone from that house sat for us once long ago, and i'll bet it wasn't Gary or Robert.

hey all, been thinking. since i am the new kid on the block, (don't tell my sons i said that), i would really like to know where all of you lived back in the day, what ya did at sjs and church, and maybe where you are living now if you want to say. just want to get a feel for what we all were and what we are now. also, any ideas if anyone from st jude went on to pro athletics, celebrity status, government, etc.? curiosity has this old guy.

Hi Laing - as you know, lived on Faircrest b/t Rex and Redmond - live in Warren now, but still go to St. Jude's every week. Am active in organizing events and working wherever they need some assistance. Hearing about so many SJS grads around the country - feel great that I can still call St. Jude home, but feel bad for those of you who live farther away and can't visit as often. No "Famous" 70 grads, as far as I know.
