Just don't scare the poor soul for the sake of a pic. I'm assuming she's still a spry 93? |

This was in our local paper, I hope our depraved friends haven't taken to animal abuse. Boone County Sheriff's Office July 17: A deputy assisted the Boone Area Humane Society on retrieving several goats (30) from a pasture area at 200th and B Avenue, Beaver. The goats were malnourished and needed immediate attention. The owner could not be located. Investigation is continuing. (Message edited by zitro on July 22, 2008) |

They rescued the goats from beaver? Can I assume that is a town? Or was it the world famous Boone County Beavers? |

I think it's a town, but I'm not aware of it. Must be one of those 3 block long towns. |

Eminem lived in a trailer park near 8 and Gratiot or Van Dyke when he was in his teens, I think. It was actually north of 8 Mile in Warren. He may have lived south of 8 when he was younger. After he made some money, he moved over into Chesterfield twp. in a gated community. he's still somewhere in that general area. His second marriage to Kim was at Meadowbrook Hall. My nephew was the chef for the reception. |

It's in jest to having or knowing someone who's been at these events associated with whomever gets mentioned. I guess if I have to splain it it's only funny to me. LMAO! It's not the same I guess only 7 cracks himself up sometimes. |

Ok, I've got it now. I was just not a huge Forest Gump fan. I've only seen it once. 'I crack me up' Wasn't that Goose's line in Top Gun? |

Z, I like long rides. Mom's picture is up on my FB page in a 1 photo album titled "Granny". She did go for a short ride but I couldn't get her out on the highway. Didn't want to put the helmet on - it would mess up her hair. She's amazing. 94 in October. Actually, she's my 1st wife's Mom. She "adopted" me after Jill died in '82. |

west side of Harper bout 5-6 blcks south of 9MI. great burgers and pizza. BTW, I took my mom there about 4-5 years ago for a luncheon held by former St. Jude parishioners now living in Macomb (don't know if they still have an active mailing list). The group meets a couple of times a year for lunch. CFG: Do you know if the Macomb group for former SJ Parishioners still exists? Funny thought (and I mean no disrespect). What nun or nuns during the SJS era would do a mean rap routine similar to Eminem? My name is, My name is, My name is Sr._______ I guess my mind was wandering after Shef got thrown out on that gamble run home. |
