GB: You then did date Howie ... I had a chance to talk to SR via e mail and she does not remember you ... It is amazing how clear those memories about being a TAR remain...

ES: Never heard of Marvin...his younger sis was in the class of '61 but was bored with the boys in that group...she preferred dating upperclassmen.

Eastside61 & Go Blue: You use to see a whole lot of weird things at the parking lot on Fridays after the 3pm game. The only drag was Bernier use to make us go to the field at 8-9 am on Saturdays to do sprints...win or lose...and films on Sunday at his house. All of this took place 74-76. Of course we were the east side champs in 75.

Dtar64: Sounds like maybe you were/are U.S. Dept of State...that long a tour in Russia must have been a hell of a lot of fun. I did/do some work with the dept. from time to time in Latin America.

ES61 isn't in quite the same league but I think he did about a dozen years in San Quentin. He said it was a dry place but that the "women" were gorgeous.

My first lived on Newport...just below Mack.

Interesting that "Fish" is the medical examiner in Maricopa County...I live just north in Yavapai County.

Glad you jumped in.

Goblue: It was allot of fun...pure debauchery at its best. I was with PricewaterhouseCoopers doing valuations. Many of my friends thought I was a spook. Traveled all over central & eastern europe, the stan countries and russia

DTar64: I have no experience with Ruskies or Eastern Europeans...enviously I will accept your analysis...they sound comparable to Las Latinas...loved Caracas...especially Lieu. M.S...my assigned escort.

ES: In your fantasies you dated SR...Queen of the Cheerleaders...she didn't mess around with boys...she truly preferred those of us in the senior class...namely me!

GB: Your memories and SR’s seem a little out of sync. I happened upon a Denby cheerleaders reunion in San Antonio and met both HT and SR. HT has been pining over you since ’59 so I gave him your address. I know you won’t mind. When I told SR I was your friend she slapped me across the face as hard as she could. Said “Any @##*&%#**@ friend of GB is no friend of mine.” Wow, she has a wicked right cross.

OD: Well...I can sorta understand SR maybe being a tad upset...but I woulda thought that after 50 years she'd have gotten over it...usually the first is remembered fondly...oh well!

ES: GB is quoting "DON'T stop" out of context. What Sr really said was.. "Take a hike, and DON'T stop until you reach Arizona."

OD: False...in '58 I hadn't heard of Arizona...other than that Wyatt Earp had been in gunfight somewhere out there.

Haven't heard from ES today...his Greyhound Bus should be passing through Dubuque about now...probably no such thing as a wireless network at the station. I think his next stop is Wichita and then somewhere in Colorado...what a great way to see the country.
