laing: My prediction for the Loins this year. 5-11 howz that for being non biased. Hope I'm wrong. I'm sure this won't make the diehards happy but I have to see it before I Believe In Now. |

z, not totally a lions fan since we have the titans here, but i still want to see them win. after all those years going back the the days of greg landry, they have had so much talent and gone no where. what would be the thing to get them to win - get rid of the gm? |

That would be a good start, but someone would have to find the archive where all of those lurid pictures of Ford, Millen has stashed away somewhere. |

You're going to have you own problems this year depending on which Vince Young shows up. |

The only way out is for Ford to sell the team. |

I don't know WHO'S on the team this year, and it really doesn't matter - we'll go from ghetto to glory and I'll predict a .500 year or better! I know I'm aiming high - but we can do it! |

We've had a few of them over the years, it usually adds up to a mediocre season. |

I'll stay out of this discussion. The last time I enjoyed a game, Barry Sanders carried the ball |

EB There's no chance of Ford selling the team it's the only profitable venture he has. |

Being a Lion's fan is always living a dream! :-) I don't want to wake up and see the statistics of the real world W/L during football season. |

Did Frito Lay stop making Munchos? I haven't been able to find them the last 2 weeks. I love Munchos. It's a Communist Plot! |

I love those, too. Those, and Flaming Hot Potato Chips. If they discontinue either of those, I will be upset. |

Frito Lay has a product finder on their website. Unfortunately, it's not very accurate. I just did a search from my addresss, and it told me to go 11.1 miles to Northville to get my chips. When did they move Northville from Western Wayne county up to Lapeer? |

If munchos are gone, blame ethanol. And for ethanol, blame Al Gore. "As President of the Senate, Al Gore cast the deciding vote (1994) to develop and subsidize ethanol from corn". I'm sure he meant well though. http://hypsithermal.wordpress. com/2008/04/26/al-gores-ethano l-from-corn/ |

I will grant you, though, that prices have risen in general since the ethanol bill. But I don't think that people have taken to putting a potato in their tank. Speaking of, which gasoline company had the slogan, 'Put a Tiger in your Tank' |

actually think Exxon had the line - put a tiger in your tank. seems i remember at one time they were giving out "tiger tails" to put either coming out of your trunk or gas cap. their in store food sections were called tiger marts. marathon still had the baseball on i-75 in 2004 |

If anything, increased ethanol production has had a downward effect on domestic gasoline prices. The concern is the increase in world starvation and malnutrition caused by the significant rise in certain staple food prices when corn and other ethanol related crops are being diverted to ethanol production, and when farms switch to these crops to take advantage of higher prices. |
