One would think that Lay's would get those Munchos out there for the holiday weekend.
Check your suppliers carefully.

Yes, Z, you better find a new supply chain. I'm pretty sure reluctant expressions of Lions love are only good for so many bags.

Personally, I would have held out for some authentic TS seats.

Okay, Z, I took the 50 bucks I was going to send to AARP, and since J hates Walmart, I got a Costco membership instead instead of a Sam's Club. I hope this makes everyone happy. My apologies to anyone who has that place on their $#|t list.

Laing/KR, this is "on topic" since this will be made available to Cfg, if she would like, for SJ pantry purchases.

Somebody on another thread just posted that 8 Mile and Brock is closed due to a shooting. that just sucks.
Back in our days, if it was closed, it would have been because one of our dumb friends rode their bike out in to traffic. Now, it's a shooting.
How long can this shit keep up before there aren't any young people left to keep Detroit alive?

Thanks Diane. Today's sugar vs. salt snack decision has been made. That sunday on this college football Saturday will go quite well with a root beer popsicle.

Eastburn---that's what I was thinking. It's awfully quiet here today. And you know when it's too quiet the "children" are usually misbehaving.

Great weekend! With my family yesterday in Lakeport. Wife's today in C'ville. Lots of laughs, too much food & (for the gals tonight) a little too much booze.

I love seeing all the folks up here on holiday weekends having a ball. When I drive into PA tomorrow evening the town will be empty & won't have much in the way of tourism until Memorial Day, Amazes me how folks just ignore 2 of the best months of the year up here.

I know, Sept and Oct in Michigan are truly beautiful. Still warm, but not sticky, gorgeous colors, and sunsets to die for.
But then comes November
NO sun
NO fun
NO warmth
NOvember

The south starts to look real good come 11/1. Maybe some day we'll start running away from winter but we're not quite ready yet.

I do enjoy the peace & quiet of winter here. We only have 2 neighbors all winter & one of them is leaving. Lost his job due to political upheaval. We'll miss them.

Yeah, that could get really lonely really fast. I would like to go west for winter, but I don't see it happening. Who'd babysit when the boys are sick??

Hey, come on down to Houston in November! We can shoot some pool, play some tag, hit Galveston beach, go to NASA, the science museum, the zoo(wait---we are the zoo! So that'll feel like home.)LOL Great Steaks down here in Cattle country. Saltgrass Steak House is awesome. It's warm and sunny here. And too darn quiet. I need some rowdy playground action.

hey all you slackers! Diane, what is the weather outlook for houston today? am watching nbc and saw houston looks to get some bad weather. hope you will be ok. all this makes me wonder. i know there is a fallout shelter at st jude, but wonder if there are others around there? haven't seen any of those signs anywhere except st jude.
