Okay, we can add that to the menu. With croutons and bacon bits.

Aw shucks I like corn. LOL

And later on some peanutty bars made with Jiffy yellow cake mix, icing and crushed peanuts. Just bake the cake, cool it well, cut into bars, roll it in a confectioner's sugar and milk icing and then roll in crushed peanuts.

While we're all chowing down in your room, we might as well feast on some Cheli's Chili. Z, please pick this up for us at their new location at DTW on your way in.

Yummmmmm.....Mine with a bunch of fresh chopped onion on top, some salsa and hot sauce. I'll have either an MGD or a Corona with lime.

Then once we've had that appetiser, let's go to Mexican Fiesta over on Ford and Tel and have some enchiladas. I'll drive.

Man Y'all are making me danged hungry.

J, with you in the hospital, I'm not going to take the time to drive all the way out to the sticks to get chili, and miss all those other food selections. If your room is not ready because you're still in surgery, there's always the senior special in the cafeteria...so please plan this for a Thursday.

Well, Cottage is closer to the Downtown Cheli's at that, so while I'm still in anesthesia, you should have time to run down there, and while you're at it, bring back a couple Lafayette Coney's

Sure, and how about a Gyro from Pegasus, a ground round from the Detroiter Bar, and some fries from Nemos while I'm out?

Those sound great. While you're down there, swing down Bagley and hit the Honeybee for some Salsa and Guacamole. It's the bomb

Okay, but if I get over to Mexican Town, that's usually an all-day event.

And stop at anyplace in Greektown and grab some Saganaki Opah! Gee...then I'll have to have a salad with balsamic vinaigrette and a lovely glass of Shiraz. Later for dinner I'd like Como's Sicilian Steak with angel hair pasta in marinara sauce and a glass of chianti but no favre beans please. Then I'll be in the mood for a Sanders Hot Fudge Cream Puff Sundae.

Geez Loiuse! You are making me so hungry and missin' the D's food! Y'all better deliver to Houston or I'm going to tell on you for something. Haven't figured it out yet but, it'll be good when I do.

Anyone watching the hearings on freep.com? Reminds me of a hostage crisis. JG is no judge. At this pace, KK's term will have expired, and they'll still be yapping.

I turned it on several times in the period of one hour, and the same guy was talking each time. I actually think I saw him age.

Didn't we drop an Atomic Bomb on Saganaki? I'm not eating any food contaminated with radiation.

Diane: There's a little cafe not too far from Minute Maid Field that has a Cuban fare that's pretty good. Sorry I can't remember the name but it's within walking distance from the stadium.

She's doing a great Levin imitation (pick one) staring out over the top rim of the glasses hanging off her nose.

My streaming sucks! It keeps on buffering.

I think it must be a prerequisite for anyone sitting on a bench or a panel to wear reading glasses even if they don't need them to make them look distinguished. Doesn't help either Levin though, I can't believe they still do the comb over thing.

JG doesn't look half bad, but she needs better glasses. Sarah Palin, love her or not, has great glasses.

Next best thing to the streaming, this guy is giving updates periodically. I'm surprised, they say there are 7-8 seats that were open to the public that are empty. I'd be there in a heartbeat just for the entertainment factor, especially if Buffalo Butt was there squirming in his seat which I know he's not.

What did Carl say to his brother when they were standing at the bar?

"How's about another belt, Sander"?

Not funny?

Maybe it was the timing.

There is something to be said about a woman who isn't afraid to wear glasses, and who understands the value of progressive lenses.
